Confirmed from Prosser Pines Nature Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Preserve featuring pine forests and trails, plus occasional teepee-like structures.
What runners say about Prosser Pines Nature Preserve
“Clear trail in a clean, well-kept little park.”
“Overall, this is a beautiful, quiet place to enjoy a walk in the woods, with or without a dog!”
“This preserve has a lovely walking trail and is dog friendly.”
Nice little walk through the pines. The teepee structures were cool to see and eerily groaned in the wind, which was cool. It’s a short walk, so you don’t have to go in far to start to see things. While the paths are clear, there are roots popping up everywhere and some paths got a tiny bit steep.
Wonderful first “hike” of the season with small children. My whole family was having a ton of fun. Our 13 year old loved it as well which is a huge win! Great place to start out hiking because it’s a loop that isn’t easy to get lost at all. Enjoy!
Really amazing park. Amateur mycologist and the variety of mushrooms here is amazing. Highly recommend. Nice short hike. Always be aware of ticks.
This preserve has a lovely walking trail and is dog friendly. However, there are some things you should know before you hit the trail here! The trail is not marked, and the only trail map available is a painted piece of wood that does not show the little short cuts that are available.
Trail conditions & character
“The park borders a farm, which makes for a nice spot to rest and take in the view.”
“This preserve has a lovely walking trail and is dog friendly.”
“Limited parking and no eating area/ facilities aside from one port-a-potty, but this is a easy place to spend an hour or two.”
“Small park with one main loop circling the perimeter and several side trails that bisect it .”
