Confirmed from Providence Canyon Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 4 mentions

“My heart is full because of this beautiful place.”

This trail is a perfect, quick getaway all year round. Pretty easy but not boring. The water and shade are great in the summer, the fall colors are magic, and it's a wonderland in the winter.

★★★★★ — Kim , Aug 2025

It's a nice and easy hike where you walk along a small creek under the cover of trees, most of the time.

★★★★★ — Nate , Aug 2023

Cool place. Pretty light trail as far as off-roading goes (we took a Jeep Compass up) until you get about half way up-ish. Then there's a big turn around (which we used) and a skinnier trail that's a good bit steeper for more serious custom rigs. For hiking and biking it's pretty nice up to that point as well.

Great place to take atv. We down loaded at the parking area then drove up to the water fall and took trails up to MT. logan. There were quite a few people up there riding shooting walking the trails but it was crowded. Usually you were just passing by and never seen them again.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
