We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Dry Canyon yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Hiking area with kid-friendly trails and valley views.
What runners say about Dry Canyon
“I felt like a very safe area and somewhere you'd be fine to leave your vehicle for many hours while you're on a hike through the beautiful mountains.”
Dry canyon is a great canyon to walk in, with beautiful views and interesting scenery. Biking it is one of the hardest in Cache Valley because of all the rock, a lot of the surface material is loose and its a pretty decent incline. Fun none the less though. Definitely worth checking out.
Great trail up through the canyon that has great views and also gives some single track running. The snow was an added element this visit but I bet in the spring summer it’s a nice run with options for a bigger loops. Ample parking too at the entrance.
a very nice easy to moderate hike. off leash dogs allowed, would be good to bike on too. lots of nice shady patches in the beginning but make sure to bring lots of water
Great hike in Logan.. beginning of trail is fairly rugged but as you start getting deeper you'll start seeing some nice green.. nice views of the valley once you pass the first series of switch backs. Trail is a beauty throughout, would recommend. Don't forget to bring water!
