Confirmed from Purser Family Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Recreation spot offering picnic shelters, a walking/jogging trail, kids' playground & dog park.
What runners say about Purser Family Park
“The park's well-maintained, expansive spaces provided a perfect outing for my 1-year-old daughter, 3-year-old son, and our beloved dog, Brinhilda.”
The disc golf course here is typically why i come. I personally don't like that the entire course is right next to the walking trail with the exception of about 3 holes. Now that being said its a great course for those who don't mind being patient and want to develop their game.
🐢🐕🦺🏃🏼♀️This is a great walking trail and park. The trail is well maintained and accessible from adjacent neighborhoods. There is a creek that runs all through the middle of the park and we enjoy seeing the fish and turtles. There is also a disc golf course that runs from end to end in the park.
BE SAFE, Ladies! There are men out there in Purser Harker Heights Park following women, taking videos (with phones & META AI Glasses), and trying to approach women. Asking personal questions like where do you live? Where do you work?
There’s something for everyone at Purser Family Park. Trails to run or walk, frisbee golf, playground, clean restrooms, and our favorite, the dog park. It’s always so lively when we come and we always leave tired and happy!

- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
