Confirmed from Cedar Gap Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park and hiking spot with a boat launch and fishing dock, known for its lake and bird views.
What runners say about Cedar Gap Park
This is a classic Texas-sized great big lake which I found interesting for 2 reasons: First, the high-water mark is very visible along the shore, which is covered - completely in some areas - with sticks and branches.
Cedar Gap Park is an Army Corps of Engineers located in Harker Heights along Stillhouse Hollow Rd. There is a boat ramp, parking, fishing areas, and a restroom. As for hiking, this park only has short trails.
