Confirmed from PVS Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

If you want to walk looking at the river, go along the dirt road, it is short but very beautiful. People often fish here. If you want to walk further take the paved path, it's about 1.5 hours depending on how far you want to go. We did both and we liked the path better seeing the river, the photos are from that path 🤗.

Tiny paved portion, then 1/2 mile of bushwhacked path. Has a magical little feel to it when walking alone, but I wouldn't bring my friends. Very narrow and many trees fallen over the path, but I didn't spot poison ivy so I didn't feel too bad about the plants grazing my legs.

Very nice trail. Not many people are here because the location. You can get down to the river if it is in dry season

The hiking trail was beautiful it runs along the side of the Chattahoochee River. We got to see the damn release and the waterways rise. A bit of caution be careful if you decide to cross any waterways if the damn release you could get stuck unless you’re willing to swim.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
