I like visiting the Goodnough Dike road. There's a monument to the dam and a large walking trail. You can walk all the way below the dam. The view is incredible and looks north towards the Quabbin. Looking south is pleasant as it's all forest. Highly recommend.

PLEASE NOTE: DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THIS PARK. The 2003 feature film Dreamcatcher may provide some explanation for DCR’s rule against domestic animals. Otherwise a pretty area, expansive walking paths and plenty of parking.
