Confirmed from Quail Creek Hiking and Mountain Bike Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Quail Creek Hiking and Mountain Bike Trail
“Beautiful trails with lots of great hiking and riding.”
Quail Creek has a number of hiking trails around it but the best is on the backside of the reservoir. To access this area, you turn toward the lake from route 9. Make a right onto a dirt road (good for most vehicles) before the water treatment plant. Follow the road along the fencing and make another right.
I love this trail. Going up it is a good work out. Coming back is fast a following. Couple of spot you have to be careful. You can pop out to the road in the middle of it as well. Ride the road back 5th o your car.
Beautiful trails with lots of great hiking and riding. Keep in mind that this area gets very busy over the summer, so be sure to arrive early if you hope to find parking.
Varying trail levels with narrow mountain bike trails, only draw back was all of the goat heads. By the end of the ride I have over 10 in my back wheel alone!

The practical stuff
