Confirmed from Quarry Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring a few miles of trails leading to scenic vistas, old ruins and graffiti art.
What runners say about Quarry Park
“Beautiful place to walk with many scenic views look over to Glastonbury lots of trails never gets bored nice wildlife beautiful place to come”
Gorgeous trail to hike, easy to get to. Have hiked it a handful of times. Love the old bridge ruins that got tagged with colorful art. Makes for great photos and a place to stop and chill. Trails are mostly easy.
Wow!!! Beautiful. AWESOME views. We were only here for a short "dog walk", late fall. But We need to come back to explore for much longer. Easy trails, on inclines, special shoes not needed. Probably a good mountain bike route.
Beautiful lookout not too far from parking with a bench to sit at, a bunch of trails with varying levels of difficulty. Easy to decide how long/far you want to hike. Not too many people when I went.
Very beautiful and peaceful... awesome but be prepared to do a hike it's and up and down Rocky hike but very beautiful spot at the bottom

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
