Confirmed from R Hardy Matheson County Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Anazing little hidden trail that takes all the way out to the ocean. You can spot some manatees too if you're lucky.

This is a beautiful park. I've been coming here for years. There's opportunity for minor hiking and cycling. You can also go kayaking in the bay or swimming in the atoll beach area. They have a marina where you can store or launch your boat.

★★★★★ — Christopher , Dec 2018

Beautiful trail and a beautiful creek to paddling with a kayak or a paddleboard.

★★★★★ — Nassry , Jun 2018

Beautiful walk near mangroves and wildlife unfortunately the place is full of garbage left behind by mainly fishermen. No garbage cans in the area so it's not a surprise.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
