Confirmed from Rae Carole Armstrong Liberty Tree Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Nicely taken care of and shaded play area for kids and toddlers. Grass well maintained, clean pathway, shady cool areas. Be careful with letting kids play loosely around the the playground itself, had huge spiders right under the plastic areas meant for kids to walk underneath. Very scary huge spiders.

Liberty Tree Park, now known as Rae Carol Armstrong Liberty Tree Park (gosh that is a mouthful) is one of the best parks in the City of Plantation. My kids grew up at this park. Located off 5th street , matter of fact the park used to be known as “5th Street Park”, it has undergone three name changes.

This park is overall nice, however it’s not animal friendly. I enjoy walking my fur kids multiple times throughout the day. This park provides lovely shade with all the lush trees. Due to the shade, it’s optimal conditions for the pets. Unfortunately, no animals are allowed! Leashed or not.

This is a great park for many reasons. Pavilions for parties, play ground for the kids, paved walk way for jogging with many benches to relax on. My favorite feature about this park is the mini library where you can donate/share books or freely take one!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
