The trail is a little tedious, it features steep hills and slippery slopes. There is also skunk cabbage to be cautious of. The prize is worth the difficulty, though. Cretaceous-age marine fossils including Goblin Sharks, Enchodus Sp, and even the occasional Belemnitella americana fossil show up in the stream.
Took the kids searching for shark teeth, which we were successful. Not much walking to get to the brook. Easy to navigate. Found plenty of fossils and teeth.
