I moved to Tulsa from the country. My in-laws live in broken arrow next to Ray Harrel Nature Park and I walked it for the first time today. Such a breath of fresh air. And it soothe this country girls heart. Made me feel like I was back at home. Loved the nature center. A perfect field trip for kids.
Great nature park. Nice to have this area with good trails so close to home. Visitor center is nice and there is usually someone there during weekdays. Several trails with varying difficulty and length all well marked. Area was very clean. Everything seemed well maintained.
Gorgeous park with an awesome trail! There are a lot of photo opportunities and it is a great place to have senior or family photos done. Wildlife is abundant and the scenery is spectacular. The Nature Center has really cool displays with animal skins and skeletons. They also host cool events throughout the year.
Beautiful, secluded walking trails tucked conveniently behind two schools and a neighborhood. That sounds like sarcasm, but it’s not. When you enter the nature park, all of the surrounding suburban landscape virtually disappears and you feel like you’re miles from town.
