Confirmed from Redmond Watershed Preserve Main Entrance's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Redmond Watershed Preserve Main Entrance

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (62 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 6 mentions

“I love the beautiful, peaceful beauty of just nature—the sound of little birds chirping and the calm water.”

Plenty of shaded parking. A little narrower than most public park parking and has a u configuration that can confuse park goers and make you think the lot is full as you enter (it's usually not on the turn). Accessible toilets and several picnic tables for resting and snacks after a long hike in the preserve.

★★★★★ — Kingfisher , Sep 2019

Not quite enough parking! If there's a big event being held, like the marathon held every August, the watershed is certainly going to run out. There is the gravel part to park in but often it's hard to find a space because other drivers will not park the best and make it difficult to find a good space

The Day I went was a very nice day, and the trails were wide and well groomed. There is different trails, some that allow horses and bikes. I enjoyed my hike alot.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
