Confirmed from Reid Merrill Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with picnic and play areas, plus a basketball court, volleyball court, and splash pad.
What runners say about Reid Merrill Park
“Basketball courts, volleyball, clean bathrooms, covered picnic areas, barbecues, right next to the river.”
“This path leads to a beautiful bridge over the Boise river where on the other side are some sandy beaches with slow moving shallow water for my 4 yr old grandson to wade in.”
“The splash pad is up and running, there is plenty of shade and the play equipment was awesome for all ages.”
This park is HUGE, so much that can be done with the kids and your furry best friend, has restrooms, picnic areas, basketball courts, volleyball court, soccer field, it's spaced out so theirs room for everyone, not far from the river. Good place to enjoy the greenbelt and be outside with nature.
A GO TO for me ☀️ I love this park, from trails through the woods and access to the river. It’s just the most stunning location for photos, as well as a relaxing place to stroll and get some fresh air! It’s always clean and fairly quiet!
We discovered this beautiful little park a year ago while walking along the green belt. The playground structure was completely redone this past year, including the addition of a splash pad. Definitely a beautiful, quiet, and fun park.
Great little park with a good size playground that is decently wheelchair friendly. Splash pad, beach volleyball, basketball, Pavillion, soccer, and a walking path.
