Confirmed from Renaissance Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Renaissance Park
“It's a well maintained play area with a variety of play equipment for kids, padded matting around the slides and climbing areas, etc.”
“The things I didn't like about Renaissance Park is that it doesn't have shade form trees or any type of public restroom.”
“It has equipment geared for all ages, a covered picnic area and lots of grass.”
This park is one of our favorites. I'll start with the downsides though: limited shade (just the picnic pavillion) and no bathrooms. Now for the great things. Parts of this playground are handicap accessible. There is a picnic pavillion.
This place has a wheelchairs capable playground and swimgs♿. The play ground is good for all ages. The park has a paved walk all the way around it. The things I didn't like about Renaissance Park is that it doesn't have shade form trees or any type of public restroom. It is a very nice park even without these things.
A hidden park not alot of traffic. My kids love this park because of the verity of equipment. A rocking boat, swings, spin device and slides. There is also a large field to run in and play ball. This is a great neighborhood park.
Nice sized park. Large grass area to run or kick a ball. Covered picnic table area. Swings. Playground is good for all ages. Playground is wheelchair accessible.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
