Confirmed from Rev. E. W. Wooten Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Simple neighborhood park offering basketball courts, a children's playground & a picnic shelter.

What runners say about Rev. E. W. Wooten Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (284 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 7 mentions

“With clean facilities and an awesome park in my opinion, my three year old liked it but my five year old was bored quickly.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

“A beautiful, clean park with great running/biking trails”

I take my dog here to start our dog walk. I use the trail right besides the park to go to Monfort Point memorial and back. The trail used to be a rail road from what I understand.

This is one of the prettiest places to take your kids. I met wonderful people here and they even took my and my wife’s first Easter Day pictures for us with our two babies. The park isn’t too crowded and it’s not to big. I love the walking paths. You can see the tourist that come in lime the park.

★★★★★ — Kyel , May 2022

Ample parking, on a dead end street so no traffic. Indoor restrooms with running water. Nice play area for the kids. Nice sized pavilion and a few picnic tables. 3 park style grills. I would recommend bringing your own if you plan on cooking.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 9 mentions

“Bathroom has freezing cold water to wash hands and metal jail looking seats that are also freezing, water fountain in the park doesn't work, but otherwise really nice”
