Confirmed from Riverwalk Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Grassy gathering place for community events, with walking paths, seating areas & a stage.
What runners say about Riverwalk Park
“Place kept clean, tidy and poop stations stocked up.”
“Always a beautiful place to take a walk, bring the kids for different community events, etc.”
“It's a very nice, quiet little park to enjoy a lazy afternoon in.”
Beautiful place to walk, bike, run, play tennis, basketball, youth center for kids. There's a boat ramp where you can kayak, fish, and enjoy the cities activities. Dogs will love the parks.
Always a beautiful place to take a walk, bring the kids for different community events, etc. I was here for the National Night Out celebration - volunteered at a booth and what a wonderful evening. There were so many people from the community celebrating and acknowledging the local law enforcement.
Lovely locals walking their dogs this morning. Place kept clean, tidy and poop stations stocked up. Still some people choose to leave their dog's mess for others to step in.
Nice flowers, very lowkey and pretty. The river is not too far, about a five to ten minute walk from the beginning of the walkway. There’s rarely anyone there except an occasional dog-walker or mom & her kid enjoying the day.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
