Confirmed from Rice Creek North Regional Trail Access' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“This place is absolutely stunning but on a weekend, especially in the fall, it is a nightmare because it is overtaken with photographers.”

Nice walking trail. Good for walking, biking, rollerblading. Has benches throughout and a couple porta potties.

★★★★★ — Jennifer , May 2022

Love this area. We went there to shoot engagement photography and it was just perfect. Lots of walking trails and beautiful trees.

★★★★★ — Tracy , Mar 2024

This is a beautiful trail. I love that it's paved it makes it easier to walk through. Beautiful tall grass and wildflowers all over. Plenty of wildlife including butterflies and bumblebees.

★★★★★ — Lindsay , Sep 2025

Lovely trails. We didn't have time to investigate too much, but what we did get to walk on was very well groomed and the scenery was nice.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🅿️ Trailhead parking 7 mentions

“However, the parking lot off County Road I has had broken glass for the past month.”
