Confirmed from Silver View Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring basketball and volleyball courts as well as baseball and softball fields and playgrounds.

Overall thoughts: OMG, a new favorite park for overcast or chilly days. So much space for kids to run, not by a street, lots to explore! SWINGS? Yes, 2 traditional ones and 2 baby/toddler ones. PLAY STRUCTURE FOR BIG/LITTLE KIDS? A structure for big kids (5+) and a smaller structure for toddlers also!
•Adventure Quotient: ⭐⭐ •Trails: 1.5 miles, loop •Parking: ample, direct trail access •Trail Conditions: paved, smooth, minimal hills, sidewalk system access Scenery: forest, lake, wildlife, green space, human habitat •Activities: Geocaching, frisbee golf, horseshoes, baseball, basketball, soccer, sledding hills…
A nice trail around the water. They are removing a lot of invasive species of bushes and trees so it looks bare and will continue to do so. The water quality is not good so they are trying to remedy that also. The turtles, egrets and ducks all continue to show their presence.
This is one of my favorite lakes close to home. It has food trails, a coffee/snack shop and pretty good fishing. Mostly, though I like the island in the middle.od the lake as a place to slow down and think. It is in the city, but still can provide a feeling of space and distance for the rush of city life.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says

- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
