Confirmed from Richmond Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

well-maintained 3 mentions

“Always fresh, clean air to find in the city.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 4 mentions

“Cool park always beautiful no matter what time of the year but in the winter, it has a great hill to sled down from”

Always fresh, clean air to find in the city. Kids love the playgrounds and pool. I love swinging in the breeze and picnics with my family. They need to do something with the pool. Fresh paint to cover the rust would help, but pool has lots of needs besides paint.

This is a nice park for talking a walk. It has plenty of grassy area as well. I don't know how many fish are in the pond but I have seen a few. Probably not great for fishing as it is super weedy and home to alot of birds.

★★★★★ — Joe , Dec 2024

This is a lovely park with plenty of sun and shade. The pond is a wonderful centerpiece to sit and watch the water foul and relax. The park is home to one of Grand Rapids three city pools. The pool building is unique and a small piece of city history. Admission costs $10.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
