Confirmed from Rillito River Park at La Canada's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Awesome and quaint little parking lot with access to the Rillito River Wash and the Rillito River Bike Path. There is, additionally, a little jungle gym and play equipment for children.l, as well as a Men's and a Women's Restroom.

I won't say anything bad even though there are signs up stating that shady activity occurs there so keep your things locked up and protect your valuables. Otherwise the place is the same. I enjoy the wash much more than just walking or biking along side it. That is unless it's monsoon.

★★★★☆ — Matthew , Apr 2024

Clean, convenient, lots of parking, even has bathrooms and water stations. Great for biking and hiking. Seen quite a few ppl even on a monday noon stop.

★★★★★ — Jim , Dec 2021

I love coming here early in the morning and just walking. The path. Seeing the nature and the quietness of it all. It's very peaceful.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
