If you are into serenity, birds, and nature itself, you have to checkout Sweetwater Wetlands! Who knew such an oasis existed here in Tucson?! Until a few days ago, I didn't! I was so impressed with the whole experience! I love 🐦, so I was in heaven.
Wow this place is a breath of fresh air in the desert! So much lush green vegetation and more water than you’ll see in most areas of Tucson. Lots of different types of birds here. Trails are way to navigate. You can work your way all around the area and back to the entrance. Definitely a must!
A pretty easy and fast walk, lots of cute birds, bunnies, and squirrels. So many little bugs that end up in your mouth and nose, so not necessarily enjoyable but it's a cute little walk-through. Super easy for kids. No dogs allowed, plenty of parking. Bathrooms available!
This park is well known to the birding community due to the large ponds and easy access from the interstate highway. Open from sunrise to sunset for self guided tours, but no dogs or bicycles, please.
