Smooth roads. Good for longboarding. There is a Police presents so be cautious. The river is amazing and you can walk right up to it.
An easy, paved walking trail with gorgeous views of the Eel River. We saw minnows and tadpoles in the water. There is a connector to the Hervey Preserve, which features more walking trails through the woods and a stone labyrinth.
Nice place for a walk in good weather. Right next to the famous carousel and baseball field with bathrooms.
Great rail trail along the river. The pavement is starting to show some age in a few places but overall is in good shape. In the 90’s there was a rope swing where the Cole Bridge is now that was popular with local kids and of course the dam. Times have changed but it’s still a great place to spend an afternoon.
