Confirmed from River Loop Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about River Loop Trail
“The area is very nice and calm, with lots of fishermen around with their families.”
The area is very nice and calm, with lots of fishermen around with their families. There are 3 official trails here, with a few smaller additional ones you could take. The trails aren't very challenging, which is great if you're just looking to get out of the house and enjoy nature. Water is very calm.
Good to see this finally on Google. These trails are little hidden gems. Nice walk through thick forest, see lots of birds and herons.
Awesome experience, nice fishing. Great place to walk with the family and get a breath of fresh air!
Nice short trail through the woods and along the bank of the Tennessee River.
