Confirmed from River Park Bridge's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with a boat launch for kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards, as well as kid-friendly hikes.
What runners say about River Park Bridge
Fun spot to go kayaking. Dirt turnaround gets you fairly close to the boat Launch area. There is a gently sloping gravel trail to the water. We decided to first paddle up river for maybe 10 or so minutes which was a relaxing paddle. However, the current picked up so we turned around.
Great spot for a paddle or short walk. This is a really nice little park. Open field a short hiking trail and very easy access to the wilimantic river. The paddling on the river is wonderful! Flat water with an amazing amount of wildlife to see. Very good fishing as well.
Great place to launch canoe or kayak. Get there early for good parking spot. Rowdy bunch on bridge 6/8/20 . Most were just playing a game. Others were loud and cusing up a storm. And there was someone burning up tires in dirt flying dirt and rocks everywhere. My son was scared to walk up to our car.
