Confirmed from Eagleville Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Scenic

Hiking, fishing and boating are popular at this riverside park and preserve.

What runners say about Eagleville Preserve

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (261 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 8 mentions

“Haven't been on the trails here yet, when I do ill rewrite my experience so far though very beautiful.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“Didn’t explore too much but it was quiet and the water flowing over the dam was relaxing to watch.”

Trails were a bit narrow, but were still passable and in good shape. Not busy at all and a good variety of sights for a short hike. For the trail map, you can view it on OpenStreetMap.

Absolutely beautiful place! I highly recommend this place to everyone! People love to go there for numerous reasons, hiking/walking, some people ride their bicycles, etc. My number one reason for going there is to go birdwatching. Right now they have a small but beautiful flock of Cedar Waxwings.

★★★★★ — Briana , Aug 2021

Wonderful waterfall view. The trail does a loop although it got thick on the far side of the trail. We did see a retail hawk, osprey and a couple bald eagles soaring above the river. We also got the pleasure of a deer along the river bank.

★★★★★ — Dustin , Jun 2026

Nice place to walk and get some exercise. Trail can flood in some spots but it is not hard to walk around it.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
