Confirmed from River Walk Natural Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about River Walk Natural Area
“You can see birds and wildlife like chipmunks and deer if you are quiet and a few geese land in the water too.”
It has a nice little walking trail beside the water that's short and little flowers along the trail for a pleasing view. You can see birds and wildlife like chipmunks and deer if you are quiet and a few geese land in the water too.
Off the beaten path nature walk along a riverbed. Good for a quick hike. Mosquitoes can be bad in the summer.
Really nice trails and hangout spot by the water first time exploring it and I like this spot
All the leaves are brown- and the sky is gray. I went for a walk- on an early spring day. The river was rushing and wide and glorious. The trail stands kind of high near the water but I'm sure you can find ways to the riverside.
