We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of River Walk yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about River Walk
“Peaceful for walking my dog”
Easy walk, about an hour round trip. Starts on Navajo, runs behind Albertsons, Kohls & neighborhoods; ends by the intersection of S River & Charolais. There are a couple of opportunities to go down to the river. Unfortunately, not much parking at beginning or end, street parking only.
I love walking here. So peaceful and quiet. Never had a bad walk here. Beautiful scenery with good access to stores and restaurants.
