Confirmed from Rivercrest Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Public park offering a playground, sledding hill, paved pathways & baseball & softball fields.
What runners say about Rivercrest Park
Great park for walking, rollerblading, or scooters. Has a nice playground for the kids to play while you do laps. Surface is asphalt paths and concrete walks on the perimeter.
In the Fall & Spring it supports at least 8 - 10 soccer fields, that are busy every weekday afternoon with team practices, and excitement on Saturday's with games.
Rivercrest park has lots to offer. There are soccer and baseball fields, a children's playground, a snow hill, lots of space to let dogs and kids run and a paved trail for walking and biking. I like to walk up and down the snow hill to get my flights in.
Pretty nice place to watch fireworks! I have to say, the grass is sorta scratchy especially if your watching from the hill. But as long as you bring a blanket its a pretty nice place to sit down and watch fireworks. :)

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
