Confirmed from Side Cut Metropark's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Such a great environment! You can walk by the water or through tree lined paths with so much variety. They have top notch day camp programs. Look for the local wildlife too - deer, fox, turtles, ducks, geese, and more. There are some biking trails as well as the walking/hiking. Lots of options for any skill level.

Beautiful park along the Maumee River. The trails are well taken care of, nice playground and pavilion. Several grilling stations also. The new concrete pathway along the river is so nice for strollers, etc.

I have been here multiple times. The park and playground are always clean and well-maintained. The trail beside the river is nice to walk along. Although I have never utilized them, the rentable shelters look great and seem to have adequate space for serving food.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
