Confirmed from Riverfront Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

It is a very nice place to walk and take photos. There are many places to visit, such as cafes, restaurants, etc.

Beautifully laid out. Great walking path. BUT, every few yards, there are speakers and music is played over all of them the entire park. So, a beautiful peaceful park has this music blaring when it should be quiet so you can enjoy the beautiful views. If you want music, bring your own with earphones

★★★★☆ — Peter , Feb 2025

This park is a beautiful spot for walking by the water, getting in a workout, or enjoying a stroll with your dog. It’s very well maintained, always clean, and offers stunning views. I really enjoyed exploring the spacious grounds and peaceful atmosphere.

Very nice paved walking path along the river. Lots to see, beautiful foliage, sculptures and of course the Daytona Int'l bridge. There is a kids play area at one end as well. Good for walking, walking dogs and biking or running.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
  • Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
