Confirmed from Riverfront Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Peaceful nature trail, featuring a bridge, that cuts through an industrial area and a park.
What runners say about Riverfront Trail
“Its a interesting mix of saint Louis with miles of rundown factories (with very fragrant smells at times) and beautiful views of the river.”
“The walking trail was peaceful and full of natural goodies.”
Off the beaten trail, adjacent to the river, some of Bob Cassidy's (City Museum founder) fascinating work. If you're visiting St Louis for the first time, I'd recommend City Museum over this.
Its a interesting mix of saint Louis with miles of rundown factories (with very fragrant smells at times) and beautiful views of the river. Occasionally you run into some wildlife that pose no threat and a hobo or two. Well worth trying it out once I do it one time a year at least.
Just pictures of the beginning of the Trail! Every peaceful on a rain day. Very low traffic how I like it😂 Downtown can get very busy and a lot of stop and go🥴😂
Great walk along the river. Quite a scenic view and not crowded at all. It was middle of the winter. Still very pleasant.
