Confirmed from Riverlink Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Scenic family-friendly park along the Erie Canal featuring a playground and picnic tables.
What runners say about Riverlink Park
“Playground is best for younger kids, but well kept, and if your little one enjoys trains, they can often be seen here.”
“In the park you will find scenic views of the Mohawk River, interesting sculptures, memorials, a boat launch, and a small stage for concerts.”
Excellent place to learn the history of the city of Amsterdam and surrounding area. Beautiful walking path with historic information. The event I went for was "Make A Wish" benefit. Many people showed, it was a wonder event and cause. Live music, food, fun for the kids, etc... Definitely be making more visits there.
Riverlink Park is a fantastic park located on the shores of the Mohawk River in Amsterdam, NY. The park is a nice place to walk around and is located right by the Mohawk Valley Gateway Overlook Bridge.
Such a great place down by the river. The summer concerts are wonderful. The nights of the concerts they have a golf cart ride available to those who can't or don't want to walk over the pedestrian bridge. Thursday nights the water ski team practices there.
Beautiful riverside park with trail connections to the scenic river view and downtown bridges. Does have boat moorings, 911 memorial, playground and snack shack. I had full bars of Verizon 4G LTE Roaming.
Trail conditions & character
“The pedestrian bridge is gorgeous, the hydrangeas were in bloom (mid Aug), what a great addition to the river front.”
