Confirmed from Schoharie Crossing -Yankee Hill Lock's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park, lock and historical landmark featuring ruins of the Erie Canal and hiking paths by a river and islands.

So beautiful here! I love walking here. It's so peaceful and full of nature!
As othre reviewers have noted, a walk through time. Easy access via bicycle or car. There are also kayaks available for rental.
This is such a wonderful place. It's like taking a walk back in time. Love the photos and information about what it was used for and what it looked like back when it was new. Just an amazing walk and adventure through time and history.
