Confirmed from Riverside Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Picturesque riverfront park with trails, sports courts & fields, a sculpture garden & playgrounds.
What runners say about Riverside Park
“The frisbee golf course is nice and well kept, and there's plenty of room for pet exercise and picnics.”
“I've been getting back into disc golf lately, and Riverside has a beautiful course.”
Gorgeous location and spacious park located in town. The Milwaukee River runs through and makes for a great place to take littles. The playground on the south side of the river next to the tennis courts is great for kids of most ages. The disc golf course is also very well maintained.
Great place to get together with your friends and play a round of disc golf. It's a beautiful course over a large area, great for all experience levels. From trees to wide open fairways. There's par 3's n some holes that are very challenging.
I did ancient rituals in the pit. My buddy started levitating up and down saying he was growing the Amazon rainforest back. I don't blame the people that run the park i blame the couple who watched me fall from the monkey bars, landing on my neck and doing a backroll to save the day.
Walking up and down the Trails makes you feel free And calm Just to see So much And how it is designed for all of us to walk the paths. It was my first time there in many years. Mother nature makes it what it is so beautiful

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
