Confirmed from Rolfs Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Benny and I absolutely love coming here. What a sweet gem we have in our community. Always come across the nicest people, always looking out for each other and the safety of the animals. My little boy is a meager 11 lb, but loves to play with all dogs.

I love this place. Great to socialize dogs and humans:) Trails, dog poo bag stations, water bowls everywhere (bring a jug of water), two fenced in areas for little dogs and all size dogs. The fee is $25/ year and so worth every penny. Many benches to sit and see your dog happy and play.

Great place to let your dog get some energy out and socialize with other dogs. There’s a small dog area and a very large dog area with a large green space and wooded hiking trails.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

“On a rainy day, probably on the muddy side but the dogs won't care so you better be prepared for puppy fun and tail wagging silliness upon arrival.”

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
  • LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
