Confirmed from Riverside Running Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Great park to get into nature. The running trail is mostly concrete but you can run through the wooded trail section and its very shaded. If you want a longer run just go through downtown...I've run this route for years and have never run into problems.

3.5 mile paved walking/biking trail. Most of the trail is what I would call a nature trail. Parts were along a residential neighborhood. The map we got from the visitor center didn’t mention how long it was but it was definitely a lovely trail

This park is huge and beautiful. They have miles of great walking trails along the Guadalupe with great views of a rolling golf course and nature ponds. It is big enough to get quiet space on a beautiful day.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
