Great park, there's a River right here over a small Hill as well as a creek with a bridge to walk over also enjoy looking in from the bridge. The bathrooms have codes due to many people who weren't staying there and were ruining the bathroom. Broke a soap dispenser, toilet paper holder, left soiled clothing.
Lived in the Garwin area for 30 years. Now we are in a travel trailer checking out the US. We still come back to Iowa in the summer time. One of the best dog parks we have visited is at Riverview Dog Park in Marshalltown. Has two sides one for small dogs and one for large dogs.
Great park to come to to relaxe in the sun or take the kids to 1 of the multiple play areas. You have a furry friend that needs to get outside? Well they can help with that as well @ Riverview Park as the have a nice dog park split into 2 sections for big dogs and little dogs.
With a campground, hiking and biking trail, dog parks, and multiple playgrounds this park has everything! Whether you want to take your kids for a picnic or have a family reunions at the historic log cabin or one of the many shelters, this place has it all!
