Marshall county is keeping it mowed. Not checking on the fire rings to clean them out. 2 signs down by the river are unreadable due to poster placed over. Lots of dead limbs hanging in trees. 18 camp sites electric 30/50. Otherwise its a quiet campground with access the the Iowa River. It does have a mowed walking path
I am an avid nature buff, I enjoy hiking, camping, barbecuing and all kinds of outdoor activities! Timmons Grove is my go-to place to escape the hubbub of City Life!
Nice park. Camping is only $14.00 per night. Great nature trail for the kids. No showers or flush toilets. Close to a Casey's store.
Surprised this park had such a big newer playground. The park itself is kind of run down, needs newer picnic tables.
