Confirmed from Robert Strickland Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

👟 good for all levels 3 mentions

“Family friendly fun for all ages!”

Great little park, shaded by trees with picnic tables and a basketball court right next to the playground. Not too far from I-95 and a handful of restaurants, great little spot for kids to run around and play while traveling! Not sure if there was a public bathroom but park was nice!

Me and my son visited the RC portion of this park for the 1st time and we had a lot of fun. We paid $15 to use all the tracks for the day. They have a small paved race track, a big dirt track, and a rock climber corse. Sometimes they also have events like demolition derbies and races you can watch. Bring your RC cars!

Sickest RC track! Well groomed, professionally run. Full coverage high power LED lighting for night sessions/racing. No expense spared at this track, top notch all around. 👍👍👍

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

Plan your run at Robert Strickland Park

The practical stuff

  • AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
  • LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
  • At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
  • Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
