Confirmed from Fortunato Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Quaint park off of Granada on the Halifax river. Walking path will give about a mile walk back and forth under the bridge. Nice pier for fishing, plenty of benches to sit at and watch the boats cruise by. Picnic facilities to sit and enjoy an impromptu lunch, area for the kids to run around.

We absolutely love visiting Fortunato Park in Ormond Beach! It’s such a beautiful little riverside spot with something for everyone—our kids always head straight to the playground, and we enjoy walking the paved paths along the Halifax River with amazing water views and sunset spots.

I can’t really find anything to say bad about this park except that I wish it was closer to my house. The playground had lots for the kids of all ages and it was all along a beautiful shoreline. The fields were very well maintained as was the entire park.

I love the walking loop. It is a peaceful route that spans from the east to the west side of the Granada bridge. There are plenty of benches along the way for a break if desired. There is a small play area with climb on structure and baby swings for young families. There are bathrooms and a few tables for picnics.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
