I entered Rock Creek to go hiking up off of Shoshone Street. There is parking and a porta potty right there. Note: There is no where to use the restroom on the hike to where I was. Also, I didn't notice this on the way down, however it is a road on the short decline down.
Its beautiful! There are wild rose hips, the trail is right along the river and it's a very decent trail length-wise. It starts at one end of town, near the gas Station across from Depot Grill and continues passed the old hospital to the Rock Creek Park and goes even passed that.
Lovely paved walking trail with benches and picnic tables along the way. Some of the benches are near the water and shaded making nice cool resting spots even when it's hot, sunny and not a cloud in sight.
Easy walk, wheelchair friendly, paved, no hills and beautiful. Has a playground for the kids and Frisbee golf. Lots of covered eating areas, people fishing. Really cute area. Great for walking dogs as well.
