Confirmed from Rock Island Woodson Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Paved and gravel trail that follows an old railway route.

“Love riding the trail, beautiful scenery, peaceful and quiet.”
Not well marked. Google had it at the wrong place. Nice, part shade, part sun trail.
A super nice, wide, paved/gravel trail! The Woodson trailhead will take you onto Raytown Road for about a half mile; I personally abhor any trail that puts you near traffic, though you are safely on a concrete sidewalk with plenty of room.
Gorgeous trail with lots of shade. Easy path for strollers, dogs, or biking. Lots of e-bikes traverse this trail, but it’s not an inconvenience. The path is generally quiet and peaceful. A great place for an afternoon walk!
WONDERFUL place for all! Half paved half gravel, but the gravel is extremely flat and well maintained. So much so we were able to push our two children in their stroller the entire way. Highly recommend!
