Confirmed from Rock Springs Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Large, clean, park with paved paths for dog walking and a playground.

BEAUTIFUL park tucked away in O'Fallon. My kid and I checked it out on an April Sunday afternoon. She enjoyed the very tall playground and we trekked the walking and hiking trails that surround the center of the park.
I have seen the park & facilities but I stick to the trail system & prairie located around the park. The Scout Loop trail and the prairie offer great views. There are many birds along the trails. My faves are the Barred Owl & Red Shouldered Hawk.
Amazing park with trails and natural scenery. Been here multiple times for family photos, trail walking, and kids playing on the playground. Pavilions, picnic tables, BBQ pits, and public restrooms.
Love this park - the paved trail and the natural trails. The dog parks are a bonus!

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
