Confirmed from Rockland Preserve Singletrack's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Network of mountain bike trails geared to all skill levels (including a skills park, pump track and play areas).
What runners say about Rockland Preserve Singletrack
“There's no hours, pretty well maintained, some good trails and lots of features.”
“The trails are exciting, and the scenery is beautiful.”
“The trails here are well planned, clearly marked, and have a very good map system that will keep even a first timer on track and having a great time.”
“A public track maintained very well and great for all levels.”
The trails are challenging. Even the "easy" green trail is tougher than green trails in most other parks. Don't let me scare you away though. We rode most of the trails on a tandem and had a great time. We drove from Indiana and found the trail to be well worth the trip.
This was my first time here and I actually really enjoyed this trail it's not marked well different trails will lead off to different areas I followed the all trails app just so I would not get lost and it kind of brought me in a zigzag-ish path I managed to do a full loop around which was nice.
Great trails. The number of trails is overwhelming for a first time visitor. One circuit of the Rockland Loop was good for a half hour. I wouldn't recommend this as a solo ride for the first time. There is a lot to watch for on the trials and two sets of eyes would help with following the marked blazes.
Best place to ride in ct! The trails here are well planned, clearly marked, and have a very good map system that will keep even a first timer on track and having a great time.

“The parking lot routinely fills up on weekends, but the trails are directional, meaning you will probably not see another mtn biker on the trail.”
“I also like the fact that there is a gravel road in the middle of the hike which is pretty awesome.”
“One circuit of the Rockland Loop was good for a half hour.”
