Confirmed from Rocky Butte Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 5 mentions

“Found this park while in Dickinson for work, absolutely beautiful and easily my new favorite spot.”

My favorite Dickinson park & definitely the most diverse. There's a frisbee golf course, playground, walking/bike trail, & picnic tables as well as trees & wildlife critters. Perfect spot to bring the dog, take a brisk walk or bike the trail as it leads to another park, Vetrans/Memorial Park.

★★★★★ — Jennifer , Nov 2020

Great walking loop and a disc golf course across the street. There may even be a couple baskets to throw around in the park as well. Well developed park with lots of trees, hills, playground, picnic area. Great "getaway" while in the middle of town.

★★★★☆ — Jesse , Dec 2020

My kids loved the walking path with the little help signs painted on the asphalt! The park equipment was good for ages 2-6. All the trees provided plenty of shade! I look forward to going back and trying out the disc golf course.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
