Confirmed from Roe Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Roe Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (1,386 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 4 mentions

“It’s beautiful, well maintained and lovely, everything is perfect, just waiting splash will open soon.”

🌳 shaded & cool 3 mentions
👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“plenty of picnic areas and the park offers playgrounds for kids of all ages!”

Had two updated playgrounds. Both nice, not accessible if you are looking for an inclusive and accessible playground. The blue playground by the splash pad was nice but seemed squished together wish it was built in a little more space.

Great park, tons to do, not jam packed and has 2 separate playgrounds. Having two kids, 4 and 3, the bathrooms at public parks are huge to me. Here, they were maintained and clean, I was impressed. Plenty of parking with huge fields and a very nice walking/running trail. It's a must visit for those with little ones.

The playground equipment is really nice and covers a wide range of ages, there's also a hill to climb on, a long trail around the fields, fields, actually another spot to go play at further down the trail, restrooms, benches and picnic tables, and during the summer you even have a splash pad!

★★★★★ — Caroline , Feb 2026

A great park to go on a walk, play baseball or softball, and I like using the exercise equipment along the trail. And for bird watchers there is a bald eagle 🦅 nest south end of the park

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 7 mentions

“It's a great park with two separate playground areas, restrooms with running water, a baseball field, and large open field.”
