Confirmed from Leawood City Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

I personally like this park. It’s not as busy as Shawnee mission park. Has a small wooden area for bikes/ walking, swimming pool, tennis courts, dog park ect…. Clean and safe park, what else would you want. Has the bike and bike trails that lead in and out of the park for access to other parks of the city/metro.

It is a lovely spot to spend time outdoors. The park is well-maintained, with beautiful green spaces, walking trails, and playgrounds that cater to all ages. Whether you’re looking to relax, exercise, or have a family day out, this park offers something for everyone.

An amazing inclusive playground ideal for all ages. Features lots of sound stations and musical instruments. It even has a conveyor slide, which I haven't seen for years and is still awesome! The playground itself is fenced in which is now with smaller kids. Lots of open fields, trail, tennis courts, and restrooms.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
