We go here pretty frequently, it's a great hidden gem in Gardner! I love the new parking area that was added to the conservation area. It's a great spot to check out during each season, I particularly like the winter season with the snow for snowshoeing because it's not too hard of a hike.
Linear trail with very little use. Pretty grown in. A quite woodsy hike. Mostly flat. Trails are marked a bit. I ended up going off on an unmarked trail going into Winchendon state forest, getting to a road and then turning back for a total of about 12,000 steps.
